Stage Three: Crystalization and Desalinization  Turns Previously Contaminated Water into Pure Salt Products & Distilled Water The final stage of FracPure™ turns the concentrated salt brine transported from natural gas sites into 99.7% pure salt products for beneficial uses and distilled water that can be returned to the water supply. Desalinization & Crystallization Overview Our Crystallization plant can process 144,000 gallons of concentrated brine a day. Trucks will arrive at the plant and discharge the brine for storage and processing. The brine is filtered and heated up to a boiling point increasing the percentage of solids in the liquid. After multiple phases of treatment the process creates beneficial salt products and distilled water that can be discharged into the environment. 
At the end of the 3 stage process beneficial products are produced: ■ 99.7% Pure dry salts for water softening ■ 99.7% liquid salts for road de-icing and erosion control ■ Distilled water is the only liquid discharge, which exceeds the recognized drinking water standard from the EPA and all state environmental regulatory groups of 500 parts per million of total dissolved solids. The FracPure™ Process averages 100 parts per million or less of total dissolved solids, which is safe to return to the water table and release into rivers and streams.  Localized Crystallization Plants The FracPure™ Crystallization Plant is the only facility with these capabilities in the United States. Integrated Water Technologies has large scale manufacturing facilities where we will pre-construct crystallization plants and mobile water treatment units. Plants can be engineered to treat larger volumes of brine to meet varying levels of demand. We will strategically select locations regionally throughout the Marcellus Shale, to ship and re-erect the mobile units and plants. This will reduce trucking costs from the drill sites and allow for handling large volumes of brine locally. Each plant creates 25-30 new jobs for ongoing operation, not including construction, transport, manufacturing and 5 jobs operating FracPure™ units on each drill site.
